Kampala, 14th November 2025 — Uganda’s tourism stakeholders today convened at Four Points by Sheraton Kampala for a high-impact capacity-building training led by Ms. Lorraine Simpson, an award-winning TV Travel Expert and Founder of Nia Global Strategies.
The training program, sponsored by the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB), was designed to enhance Uganda’s competitiveness in the global travel marketplace and equip tour operators with cutting-edge skills for engaging international travelers.

Ms. Simpson, renowned for her expertise in luxury travel trends, destination marketing, and traveller behaviour, delivered deep insights into how Ugandan tour operators can better position their products for global audiences.
The session focused on:
- Understanding global travel trends and buyer expectations
- Enhancing product packaging for high-value source markets
- Leveraging digital platforms and storytelling for destination visibility
- Strengthening customer experience to meet international standards
Her training emphasized the importance of innovation, strong branding, and market intelligence in an increasingly competitive global tourism environment.
