UGANDA TOURISM BOARD WELCOMES HIGH-LEVEL ROC NATION DELEGATION AHEAD OF AFCON 2027

Kampala, Uganda — 2nd July 2026, The Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) is delighted to announce the arrival of a high-level delegation from world-renowned entertainment and sports agency, Roc Nation.

The two-member delegation arrived today at Entebbe International Airport for a destination site inspection starting from July 2nd to July 5th. This marks a monumental milestone in Uganda’s strategic marketing and partnership development ahead of the highly anticipated AFCON 2027.

CEO Juliana Kagwa says,

“This visit is a golden opportunity to position the Pearl of Africa on the global stage. The delegation is led by Michael R. Yormark, an esteemed American sports and entertainment executive who serves as the president of Roc Nation Sports International and co-CEO of Roc Nation Unified. Operating out of London, Yormark spearheads the global expansion of Roc Nation’s football and broader sports divisions. He is renowned for managing off-field brands, major sponsorships, and commercial strategies for elite global icons such as Vinícius Júnior, Kevin De Bruyne, Endrick, and Siya Kolisi.
