  • Uganda Tourism Board (UTB), is a statutory organization established by Uganda Tourism Board Statute of 1994 and reconstituted in the Tourism Act 2008 with the following Statutory Objectives:

    1. To promote and contribute to the development of tourism sector both within and outside of Uganda.
    2. To coordinate with the Ministry responsible for tourism; and the private sector in the implementation of the National Tourism P
    3. To carry out any other activities as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the two objectives specified above.

Ugandan professional to fill the following position:

Main purpose of the job

  • Design and implement an effective Monitoring and Evaluation system for UTB while running

    the support function of research, collecting

Minimum qualifications and certifications

  1. Minimum qualifications is a Bachelor’s Degree in statistics or Economics or

    Developmental Economics.

  2. Desired additional qualifications are post graduate diploma and/or Master’s

    degree in M&E , Economics or Statistics.

  3. Knowledge of M&E frameworks and ability to design data collection tools

  4. Report writing and data visualisation skills

  5. Three years’ experience in Research Projects, Monitoring

  1. Data analysis skills using software like MsExcel, SPSS, STATA, R,KoboToolbox etc

  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
