The Magical Kenya Travel Expo (MKTE) is Kenya’s flagship international tourism trade show, bringing together tourism boards, tour operators, travel agents, hotels, airlines, buyers, media and other industry stakeholders for B2B meetings, networking, destination promotion and business development.

Uganda’s participation focuses on promoting “Explore Uganda – The Pearl of Africa” to regional and international travel buyers. Through UTB and Ugandan tourism businesses, Uganda showcases its wildlife, gorilla and chimpanzee experiences, adventure, culture, birding and conservation while engaging buyers through B2B meetings, destination training and media activities.

The expo also provides Uganda with an opportunity to strengthen tourism cooperation with Kenya, develop joint marketing opportunities and attract more visitors to Uganda.
