The Bid securing declaration date and bid validity period date as per Page 3 Section 1 and Page 24 Section 2 in the BDS ITB 20.1 whether they are similar.

For purposes of this bid and cognizant of the fact that average bidders ordinarily would not comply to ITB 20.1, the requirement has been designed in such a way that both the Bid Securing Declaration date and the bid validity dates are identical. However, an elite bidder won’t  be penalized for correctly interpreting ITB 20.1

Further elaboration about the table provided in the bid document from Page 46 Section 6 to Page 48 Section 6 under Scope of services 2.2 what should exactly be used for.

  • List of Supplies or Services – provides a list of materials that may be used in servicing of motor vehicles
  • Delivery and Completion Schedule – indicates the expected delivery timeline for the services.
  • 2.2 Details of services – Give a breakdown of what the provider is expected  incorporate under each category of service.

Avail the exact items you would like us to quite for since there are some items provided in the List of Supplies or Services Page 43 Section 6. There are others in the table as per the details in number 2 above where some of them differ from the ones under List of Supplies and Related Services 2.3.2 from page 48 Section 6 to Page 49 Section 6

  • Quote the unit cost for category A service, Category B service, Category C service and Category D Service for each of the vehicles.  
  • Summarise the above costs in the Price Schedule for Services.
  • You may need to repeat the Price Schedules for each category of service i.e prepare separate Price Schedules for Category A Service, category B service, Category C Service and Category D Service.

Note: Quotation should be limited to servicing only. Cost of repairs shall be determined at the point of repair. Replacement Materials & Spares have been listed as possible items that may be required during repairs.

We also seek clarity on ETC abbreviation that is included on the items provided on Page 48 section 6 2.3.1 and Page 49 Section 6 2.3.2 under List of Supplies and Related Services.

ETC means the materials are not limited to those listed in the schedule. Other materials not listed may be required where necessary
