Over five days at the Emirates Arena, the She Cranes delivered a series of commanding performances, defeating Namibia, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Zimbabwe, and Wales. Their flawless run captured international attention and highlighted the discipline, unity, and determination that define Uganda’s national identity.
Arriving in Scotland with little time to acclimatize, the players adapted quickly, embraced the challenge, and showcased an inspiring level of focus. Their grit and energy on foreign soil mirror the adventurous spirit Uganda invites travelers to experience back home—whether exploring national parks, immersing in culture, or engaging with the warmth of Ugandan communities.
