On the eve of the highly anticipated Uganda Cranes fixture in Morocco, the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) strengthened Uganda’s destination visibility through a strategic radio engagement on Med Radio Morocco, one of the country’s most listened-to audio-visual radio platforms based in Rabat.

The engagement leveraged the excitement surrounding African football to spotlight Uganda’s unique tourism offering. Through an engaging discussion, UTB effectively linked sports diplomacy with tourism promotion, positioning Uganda not only as a competitive football nation but also as a safe, diverse, and attractive destination for Moroccan and North African travelers.

The Med Radio appearance formed part of UTB’s targeted media outreach in the Moroccan market, aimed at increasing destination awareness, strengthening bilateral cultural ties, and promoting Uganda as the Pearl of Africa—a destination worth visiting, experiencing, and investing in.
